Reissue of the album "Un beau matin" by Areski Belkacem, a unique artist and long-time collaborator of Brigitte Fontaine and Jacques Higelin. His first album was released under his own name, originally released in 1971 on the Saravah label. Brigitte Fontaine’s partner released this album in the same year as the famous *Comme à la radio*, on which the couple collaborated with the Art Ensemble of Chicago. The album features eleven minimalist, Zen-inspired tracks embellished with Berber and African percussion. The offbeat, poetic and dreamlike songs explore everyday life, social issues and hallucinations.
