Pixies revisit their classic 4AD-era offcuts and rarities with Complete B-Sides: 1988–97, reissued 25 years after its original release. First issued in 2001 during the band’s hiatus, the collection gathers 19 B-sides from 1988 to 1991, including fan favourites ‘Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf)’, ‘Into The White’, ‘Bailey’s Walk’ and ‘The Thing’.

Remastered from the original analogue tapes by Kevin Vanbergen, the set completes his work across the band’s catalogue. This edition also marks the first official vinyl pressing of the compilation, expanded across four sides with six bonus live tracks drawn from later single releases.

New artwork comes from longtime collaborators Chris Bigg and Simon Larbalestier, using previously unseen archive imagery originally intended for the band. Created alongside the recent Live at the BBC reissue, both projects honour the work of late visual director Vaughan Oliver.
